Christmas Noel

Christmas Noel, went great. Great some might say. We got a taste for working a two camera set up in a live situation. How fun, figured out that we can do more with Song Show Plus. Not to mention, the lighting board. Now Imagine if we had a the proper tools for doing such a program EVERY SUNDAY? Wouldn't that be great. Some stuff too look forward too huh. Pretty much it was a great learning experience and everyone enjoyed the program we helped produce. How awesome is that.

I'll keep everyone posted as to the AAR meeting concerning the 2008 Christmas Noel.

Ideas for virtual set, background image.

I hope everyone has had a chance to view our virtual set. It's on the blog, just follow this link or log on to the blog. If you all look at the set closely, you will notice we have a background, in the set, of a city night skyline. We're going to change that background to something more EL Paso. What do you all think it should be? We need to go photograph the background and then use it in our new, newscast style announcements the beginning of the year. I'm thinking the background should be the star on the mountain, the west side look at the mountains during sun rise or sun set. Pastor Rich, mentioned trans mountain either east or west, not sure. Looking down at the valley.

What do you all suggest? Please log on and post your ideas. Let everyone know what you think and we can select from their.

Also, Christmas Noel is this coming Sunday. We have rehearsal this Saturday morning. Stage needs help at 8 AM, unless otherwise noted for lighting set up. I'm assuming we will need help. Both audio, video, lighting, etc.. the night of Christmas Noel however, I will get more information to you as it becomes available to me.

Excited to here that we received our virtual studio image today. Have a look. Let me know what you all think, we can drop out the city scene and drop in our own city, mountain w/start, etc... However, we are still waiting on the green screen to make it work properly. Have a look, post and let me know what you all think.

Yay postings and GREAT NEWS

Thanks all, appreciate you all posting. It's actually a great way to get information dispersed to the team.

Also, we have great news. I just got word that the supplies for setting up our broadcast studio, up stairs in the upper room, green screen, background support as well as a template of our Entertainment Tonight, style announcement broadcast has been approved. YAY, my plan is to be up and running with this new system by the end of the year. :D no rush.

Also, we are approved for a new iMac 20'' for the sound room. We will be using this new mac for various purposes.

audio archive and upload
dvd/cd label printing
last minute changes to announcements (if needed)
last minute stuff needed to be done at church (audio/video)
streamlining of our audio work

we will also be training a couple of the young folk on it to do D2 stuff
audio, archive
video editing for D2 purposes

Christmas Update

All,

Our Christmas Party is on track. Most of the team has rsvp'd and I thank you guys for it. This will def. help us in planning it out. I hope you all are doing great. We're getting ready for a fast December leading to an awesome New Year.

Bishop has great plans for the next year and we're starting out with a bang. I encourage everyone to keep submitting there comments and suggestions. We can only improve by our comments collaboratively. Looking forward to readying these as well. Until Sunday, please email, txt or call if you will not be able to volunteer this Sunday. Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008 Service

We had some bumps today, our timing was off during first service. Second service had some minor issues as well.  The intro video was unbalanced and got some slack for it.  Even though it was priorly approved by powers that be.  The background music was too load and the speaker was drowned out at times.  Will, try and fully preview the intro videos before service

CD duplication was great, thanks Claudia.  Been getting some great Footage, Mario and Elmore, great stuff too, thanks.  Need to try and stick to our schedule, will post that up this week as well for all to view.

Changing from the mac group account to blogger account

Everyone, we've been having issues with logging on to groups.mac.com/destinyproductions.  So to avoid conflict and actually have everyone commenting and participating in conversation to improve our service we have created this Destiny Productions Blog account on blogger.  I have invited all DFCC Production Staff to join with the emails that you all provided.

If you know of any of our staff that has been excluded, please email me adrian.campos@destiny4me.com so we can add them.  Also, PLEASE, comment, your comments are greatly appreciated and are resourceful in helping improve our service and in turn our broadcast witch thousands see every week.
